Truck Driver
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced dump truck driver to safely and efficiently transport, haul, and dump materials like asphalt, gravel, sand, and dirt. Key responsibilities include performing pre/post-trip safety inspections, following traffic laws, documenting time/materials, communicating with dispatch, and navigating tight construction sites.
Responsibilities

Material Transportation: Safely hauling materials from quarries, pits, or asphalt plants to the construction site and, conversely, hauling debris away from the site.

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance: Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections (checking oil, tires, lights, brakes, and hydraulic systems), fueling, and performing minor, routine maintenance.

On-Site Dumping: Safely backing into tight spots, operating hydraulic controls to lift the dump bed, and placing material as directed by site supervisors.

Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to DOT regulations, weight restrictions, and safety protocols.

Documentation: Completing daily time sheets, delivery tickets, and load documentation.

Site Collaboration: Communicating with dispatch, project managers, and crew members.
