Loader Operator/Underground Utilities
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator as an essential part of a underground utilities crew, ensuring safe, productive, and high-quality work in the installation and repair of waterline, storm, and sanitary systems. Key responsibilities include, transporting pipe, trench boxes, and aggregates safely and efficently. This role demands technical skill, situational awareness, and teamwork to maintain smooth operations on every job site.
Responsibilities

Material Handling: Transporting pipes, fittings, trench boxes, and aggregates (gravel/sand) around the job site.

Trench Support & Backfill: Supplying bedding material to the excavator and filling in trenches after pipes are installed.

Equipment Operation & Safety: Operating front-end loaders, performing daily inspections (greasing, fueling, checking fluids), and maintaining safety protocols around other workers.

Site Support: Assisting the crew by cleaning up, organizing materials, and lifting heavy components with forks or buckets
